I painted this on Saturday, on rescued shakes from the old dog house roof! This is a painting of a calf who ran after us on Rich Mountain. I don't think her ears were really that big; for some reason, I seem make ears too big.

33 Years

Saturday was also our anniversary; 33 years!

We were married on a farm in Estill County, Kentucky; this picture was taken right after the ceremony, and is a photo collage over watercolor on paper.

Happy Anniversary

This is mom and dad's wedding picture as they walked down the aisle; their first moment together as a married couple.

Mom used to put secret love messages in all dad's pockets when she helped him pack for a tour of duty. He in turn arranged to have flowers delivered to her every week he was gone.

Happy 65th Anniversary, mom and dad! We all send our love your way,

Most of us probably have very fond memories of our wonderful dog friends who rose magestically from our lives to become dog angels.

65 Years

Today I am travelling to my sister's farm where we will be celebrating my parent's 65th anniversary! Quite a feat! They are an amazing couple and their love has been an inspiration for their children, grandchildren and great grand child.
